Land Speed Record setters!
On September 10, 2012 the USU Aggie A-salt set the record for the I/DS class at the World of Speed event held by the USFRA at the Bonneville salt flats. We set the record at 64.396 mph with our industrial v-twin diesel. We were able to make a second pass the day we made the back up run using B100 made from yeast and produced completely by us! The car ran nearly identical to the petroleum diesel fuel! The race was a success! We will add pictures and links to the wide exposure we have seen since here shortly.
